This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains the terms governing order processing, local delivery, customer pickup, inspection of merchandise, and acceptance of deliveries.
By placing an order through our website, you agree to the terms set forth in this Shipping & Delivery Policy.
ORDER PROCESSING
Orders are processed after payment has been successfully received and verified.
Processing times may vary depending on product availability, inventory levels, supplier availability, holidays, weather conditions, and other circumstances beyond our control.
HOME FURNITURE & DESIGN CORP reserves the right to schedule deliveries according to inventory availability and delivery routes.
FREE CUSTOMER PICK-UP
Customers may choose FREE PICK-UP at our showroom/warehouse located at:

There is no charge for customer pick-up.
Some products are available sooner than others. Therefore, the Company will contact the customer once the order is ready for pickup.
HOME FURNITURE & DESIGN CORP will determine the available pickup date and time based on inventory availability and operational scheduling.
Customers must present a valid government-issued photo ID and proof of purchase when picking up their order.
LOCAL DELIVERY (FLORIDA ONLY)
HOME FURNITURE & DESIGN CORP currently offers local delivery only within the State of Florida.
Delivery availability depends on the customer’s location and our delivery schedule.
Delivery fees, when applicable, will be disclosed before the order is completed.
The Company reserves the right to decline delivery to locations outside our designated service area.
DELIVERY SERVICE
Our delivery team is responsible for transporting your furniture with reasonable care and delivering it in good condition.
When assembly is included with your purchase, our delivery personnel will assemble the merchandise before completing the delivery.
Customers or their authorized representative must be present to receive the delivery.
If no authorized person is available at the scheduled delivery time, additional delivery charges may apply for a rescheduled delivery.
CUSTOMER INSPECTION AT DELIVERY
Before the delivery team leaves the delivery location, customers have the right and responsibility to carefully inspect all delivered merchandise.
Customers should verify:
- The correct items were delivered.
- The furniture has been properly assembled (when assembly is included).
- There are no visible damages.
- There are no missing parts.
- The products are in satisfactory condition.
Customers are encouraged to notify the delivery team immediately if any issue is discovered during the inspection.
If a verified delivery issue exists, HOME FURNITURE & DESIGN CORP will make reasonable efforts to resolve the matter in accordance with its Return, Refund & Exchange Policy.
ACCEPTANCE OF DELIVERY
Once the customer has completed the inspection and the delivery team has left the delivery address, the merchandise will be considered accepted as delivered in good visible condition.
The customer’s acceptance of the delivery constitutes acknowledgment that the merchandise was inspected and found satisfactory with respect to any visible damage, missing components, or incorrect items.
This provision does not limit any rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
DELIVERY DELAYS
Delivery dates are estimates only.
HOME FURNITURE & DESIGN CORP is not responsible for delays caused by:
- Weather conditions
- Traffic
- Natural disasters
- Manufacturer delays
- Supply chain interruptions
- Labor shortages
- Carrier delays
- Government actions
- Events beyond our reasonable control
Such delays do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund unless otherwise required by applicable law.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Customers are responsible for ensuring:
- Accurate delivery address.
- Safe and accessible delivery location.
- Adequate space for delivery.
- Furniture will fit through doors, stairways, hallways, elevators, and entryways.
HOME FURNITURE & DESIGN CORP is not responsible for furniture that cannot be moved into the customer’s residence because of size restrictions or inaccessible entryways.
RISK OF LOSS
Risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer upon completion and acceptance of the delivery or upon customer pickup of the merchandise.
